I have been trying to convince my mother for the past year that I need a dog. I have always wanted a dog but never felt it fair on a dog when I lived alone and in an apartment. Now that I have the house though and a garden and with Mother home all day its an ideal time to get one.
Originally I wanted to get an Alsatian as I had one as a child but after more research and lots of looking at dogs I have decided I want to get a Golden Retriever. If anyone knows of a puppy looking for a good loving home let me know. Must be a girl as its going to be called Princess.
Today's card uses black cardstock for the base card. I then took a piece of red cardstock and went around the edges with gold pen and wrapped black and white dot ribbon around the bottom and secured it to the cardfront. I stamped the image from MFT onto white cardstock and coloured it in with tombow pens and then went around the edges with a red color box ink pad and attached it to red and then black cardstock and went around the edges of the black cardstock with gold pen. I then took strip of black and strip of red cardstock and mounted those to the cardfront as shown. I stamped the words onto the strip of red cardstock using Black Brilliance ink pad and then mounted the stamped and coloured image. I then stamped the swirl stamp using black brilliance ink pad onto the front of the card and added some more black and white dot ribbon using clippola.
