Shoes Shoes and more Shoes

Well what more could a girl want other than shoes, shoes and more shoes.
Today's card sticks to simple black/white/silver color combination which is always striking.
Materials: White cardstock, black cardstock, black and white dot paper, Rubber Romance stamps - girl with shoes and saying, clear rhinestones, silver organza ribbon. clippola, Stickles glitter glue, Foam pads, Black Brilliance ink pad, Silver pen
Method: Used white cardstock for the base card and just added strip of textured black and white dot paper to the left hand side. I then stamped the wording and the main shoe girl image onto white cardstock and trimmed to size and went around edges with silver pen and mounted onto black cardstock. I then attached a clippola to the main image with some silver ribbon and attached it to the cardfront. I then put a length of ribbon behind the word mount and attached it to the cardfront using foam pads. I then just added some rhinestones and some stickles glitter glue to the handbag in the main picture.

Bling Bling

Bling - my favourite topic.....
Hard to believe it's the weekend again. Time is just flying by this year.
I am busy studying Paint Shop Pro course through a Web University with Marilyn and we are having great fun learning all about what you can do in Paint Shop Pro - time to start thinking about creating my own digital stamps maybe. Really fabulous what computers can do these days compared to twenty years ago.
Now for today's card another red/black/gold card - always a striking combination I feel.
Materials: Black cardstock, white cardstock, Red cardstock, gold pen, Stamps by Rubber Romance, Black Brilliance ink pad, Ruby color box ink pad, Versamark ink pad, Gold embossing powder, gold buttons, Prima flowers, Jewel brad, Tombow pens, Stickles glitter glue, Big Shot, Sizzix embossing plate
Method: I used black cardstock for the base card. Stamp the woman image onto white cardstock using Black Brilliance ink pad and heat set and then coloured her in with tombow pens and markers and went around the edges with Ruby color box ink pad and then mounted her onto black cardstock. I then highlighted various areas with Stickles glitter glue. I took the red cardstock and ran it through the Big Shot using a Sissix embossing plate and then went around the edges with gold pen and mounted it on the cardfront. I then used versamark inkpad to stamp words Bling Bling onto strip of black cardstock and embossed with gold embossing powder and then attached it to the cardfront and then attached girl mounted image. Then I just added flowers with jewel brad and gold buttons to complete the card.
I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their weekend.

On my bike

I always wanted a Vespa scooter when I was younger - I thought it would be fun to zip around on and easy to park - typical blonde though didn't fancy having to wear a helmet as that would rather hamper your hair flowing in the breeze moment, so needless to say didn't buy a scooter.
Today's card uses black for the base card. I then took red cardstock and went around the edges with gold pen and stamped some swirls onto the cardstock (Autumn leaves) using black brilliance ink pad. Stamped the girl on her bike image from Rubber Romance using black brilliance ink pad onto white cardstock and then went around the edges with red color box ink pad and coloured in the image with watercolor paints and attached it to black cardstock and then to cardfront. Added a clippola with ribbon and a metal word charm saying - Its a girl thing.

Who wants to work when you can shop and do lunch and Blog Candy

Love the saying on this card - its from Great Impressions in South Africa. The shopper girl image is a Rubber Romance stamp.
Ok so as I have past 1000 hits on my blog, I thought it was time to give something away.
I have the ATC sized image of this shopper girl stamp which will go to the 5th person to email me their name and address. Please also put on the email what you like on my blog and also what you would like to see in the future. I will post anywhere in the world. Good luck. I will announce the winner later this week on the blog.
For today's card I have used black cardstock for the base. I then added strip of silver and white dot paper and black and white dot papers. I stamped the words using Silver Encore ink pad. I stamped the shopper girl onto white cardstock using black brilliance ink pad and then went around the edges with silver pen and mounted it onto black and then silver cardstock and then to cardfront. Then I just added some clear rhinestones to finish the card off.
Thanks to everyone for reading my blog and watch out for more give aways in the future.

This is definately me in the morning. Just wish I had bunny slippers like hers.
I used white cardstock for the base. I then added a strip of black and white dot paper. I stamped the girl in her pj's image from Rubber Romance using Black Brilliance ink pad onto white cardstock and went around the edges with silver pen and then mounted it onto black cardstock and added a clippola with silver organza ribbon. I then mounted it to the cardfront. I finished off the card by stamping real (Autumn leaves) and adding a couple of square rhinestones.
Have a super weekend everyone.

Card of the day - A road less travelled

Today's card is using black and white - I just love those colours. When I was about 15 I started wearing black clothes all the time and drove my mother mad as she very rarely wears black as she prefers pastel pinks and mauves. She couldn't understand why I would want to drape myself in head to toe Black.

Well 30 years later, I still wear black almost every day and my friends get shocked when I wear another colour. I can't understand personally - what's wrong with having 20 pairs of black trousers, 50 black jerseys and 50 pairs of black shoes. I must add though that in winter I do often add a coloured scarf. Another love I have, is my collection of BLING. A girl just can't live without her bling. I have 5 seperate leather chests of drawers with 4 drawers in each set in my bedroom full of bling - its all very well organized of course with each drawer having 3 trays in it. It's kind of a major decision each morning, what to choose.

This card uses an image from Rubber Romance and the words are from Great Impressions South Africa. If you are wanting to get hold of a Rubber Romance image you can get them from Ronita at Simply Creative who is part of RSA Group. They really are fabulous unmounted stamps - very girly images.

Onto a white base card, I layered black and black and white dot paper on the left hand side. I then stamped the main image using Black Brilliance ink pad onto white cardstock and trimmed to size and went around the edges with a silver pen. I then mounted it onto black cardstock with a silver clippola and added it to the cardfront. I then stamped the words using Black Brilliance again and added a white Prima Flower.

This image also makes me think of my dream car - an Audi TT. They are just so cute. One day....... Got to have a dream in order for a dream to come true. So keep dreaming everyone - its good for the soul as well.
