Paris Romance/Hot Pot Technique

Today's card was made based on page I submitted for Hayley's Paris Romance chunky book. It is such a gorgeous little book.
I have used the Hot Pot technique here today as well. Hayley was the one that encouraged me to buy the hot pot several years ago at stamp camp and I am so glad I did - it has many uses - one of which is to make charms/embellishments.
Several people have asked about the metal word charms I use. I found a place that makes them which lucky for me is situated right behind my office. They will make up charms for me based on my own words of choice provided I order 200 at a time - thus I had these Paris Romance words made up. I like the fact that the word charms add some dimension to the cards. Having your own words made up is also great as that way you don't have to use the standard Happy Birthday type words - of course I had to have lots of really girly words made up ie Handbags and Shoes, Shop till u drop, Passion for fashion, Born to shop, The Perfect dress, Floral Fantasy, Butterfly Kisses, Dragonfly Dreams, Eastern Promise, Harrods Creations etc.
Materials: Cream cardstock, Pink Bazzil cardstock, Paris Paper from Stampington magazine insert, Copper UTEE, Flex UTEE, Hot Pot, Flowers, Rhinestone, Eiffel Tower image from Crafty Individuals book, Brown ink pad, Swirl stamps Inkadinkadoo, Paris Romance word charm, Caramel color box ink pad, Glimmer mist gold spray.
Method for card: Fold cream cardstock in half to create base 15 x 15 square card. Go around edges of Paris paper with color box ink pad and attach to cardfront. Cut out Crafty Indivuals Eiffel tower image from sheet and go around edges with caramel ink pad and then attach to pink cardstock and again go around edges with caramel ink pad. Using brown brilliance ink pad, stamp swirls onto cardfront as shown and then attach Eiffel tower image at an angle as shown and attach word charm and flowers with rhinestone.
Charm Hot Pot Technique: Pour Copper UTEE into hot pot and melt it and then add in some flex UTEE. I find it important to add the flex when making charms as it makes your charm a bit flexible so that it won't crack into two. I then used a Eiffel tower mould and when the UTEE was melted, I just poured it into the mould and then waited few minutes for it to set and then popped it out of the mould and it was ready to stick onto my card. I use the Krafty Lady art moulds, they are an Australian company and offer a huge range of moulds - see www.kraftylady.com.au . The moulds are very easy to use for clay or UTEE as you don't need to prep the moulds at all - you just pour in the UTEE or press in the clay and pop it out again. No fuss method and quick. The other good thing about making charms from UTEE is that they are very light and so good for cards and they don't weigh down your card the same way a metal charm would. The charms also make great jewellery - just attach a pin at the back and viola you have a new brooch.

Sailing

I hope everyone is having a great weekend. I had these little boats in my stash that I bought awhile back and I needed to make a card for a man's birthday who is into yachting so this is what I came up with.
Materials: White cardstock, Patterned blue and white scrapbook paper, Acetate, Blue Staz on ink pad, alcohol inks, brads, yacht, Starfish stamp by Stampington and royal blue color box ink pad, White glossy paper
Method: Fold white cardstock in half to create 14 x 14 base square card. Go around edges of scrapbook paper with blue color box ink pad and attach to cardfront. Attacht yacht. Using your blue Staz on ink pad, stamp Starfish design onto acetate and let it dry thoroughly (I left it overnight). Take glossy white cardstock and smear alcohol inks over it and then when dry (takes a few minutes only) attach it to the glossy cardstock using a small brad in each corner. You can then attach it to the cardfront and you are done. Enjoy the rest of your weekend everyone.

Direct to Paper Technique

Happy Saturday everyone.
Thought I would share a card I made a while back I think it was for a cuttlebug card challenge and also show you at same time how I often color in collage images using DTP technique. (Direct to paper)
Materials: Black cardstock, green bazzil cardstock, mauve bazzil cardstock, cream cardstock, black brilliance ink pad, selection of color box ink pads, flowers with rhinestone brad, Cuttlebug swirl embossing folder, Big Shot, Rhinestones, Metal word charm, Vogue pattern stamp by Stamepers Anonymous.
Method:Fold black card in half to create card base. Run green cardstock through Big shot using cuttlebug embossing folder and then go around the edges with mauve color box ink pad and attach to cardfront. Run strip of mauve cardstock through Big shot using same cuttlebug embossing folder and attach that to cardfront. Attach flowers with rhinestone brad and rhinestones and word charm. Using black briliance ink pad, stamp vogue pattern image onto cream cardstock and HEAT set. Color image according to technique below and then attach to mauve cardstock and then to cardfront.
Technique: DTP or otherwise known as Direct to Paper technique is a very easy and yet effective technique and is a very easy way of colouring in Collage stamp images. All you do is take selection of color box ink pads( I use the small cats eyes) and one at a time gently rub them over your stamped image. Continue until you are happy with all the colours.
Now I am often asked, doesn't this damage your ink pads or contaminate them - the answer to both questions is yes. However you can color a mountain of images before you have to chuck the ink pad eventually and if you look at the price of the cat's eye's I think you will find its worth it. I use my cats eyes all the time for going around edges of paper and also for this technique and they are one of those must haves for cardmaking in my book. The color box ink pads are pigment ink pads so you could try this with another brand of pigment ink(I have used the Stampin up spots before) but I just find the color box are easy to obtain generally and offer a huge range of colors at a very reasonable price.
To avoid contamination of your ink pad colors, then I would suggest starting with the lightest color first - this certainly helps keep your yellow ink pad looking yellow. If you do get some contamination on your ink pad, you can fairly easily after swiping it over the image to be coloured, just swipe it over some scrap paper to get off any other color contimation. Keep the scrap paper -I often then use that piece of paper to overstamp with another image.
Another thing you will find if you use your color boxes for this technique and for the edging of papers is that often the ink pad just falls off its perch as it were. This isn't a train smash at all - I just take some really strong glue and glue it back on and after waiting for the glue to dry its as good as new.
If you are doing this technique using brand new ink pads, then swipe very gently as a lot of ink will come off onto the paper - this technique is really best with slightly older used ink pads.
Ok so why not give it a go yourself - its fun and you can get some great color combinations and it is really the easiest way I have found to colour in large collage type stamps.

Time for a Cuppa

Coffee - a much loved drink of mine. I think I am addicted to the Nescafe Cappachino.
Materials: Brown cardstock, Pink cardstock, real coffee beans, flower, rhinestones, cream wool, cream cardstock, Stamps by Hanna stamps, Brown Brilliance ink pad, Caramel color box ink pad, Swiss dots Cuttlebug embossing folder, versamark ink pad, Tombow pens
Method: Fold brown cardstock in half to create card base. I took Versamark ink and stamped coffee words all over the front of the brown cardstock to leave just a kind of watermark impression. Next I ran strips of pink cardstock through the Big Shot using the Cuttlebug Swissdots embossing folder and went around the edges with caramel color box ink pad and attached both strips to cardfront as shown. Next I stamped the image of the girl and the words onto cream cardstock using brown brilliance ink pad and then trimmed to size and went around the edges with caramel ink pad. I then attached both to brown cardstock and then mounted the words onto the cardfront. I coloured the girl using tombow pens and then attached it to pink cardstock and then wrapped fibers around the bottom as shown and attached it to the cardfront. I attached flower with rhinestone centre and some real coffee beans to finish the card off.

Shoes Shoes and more Shoes

Well what more could a girl want other than shoes, shoes and more shoes.

Eastern Mystery

A simple card for today as seem to have so much going on at present - still working on my Paint Shop Pro course. Should finish this week. Really amazing how much one can do with the program.
Great excitement as well last night as my hamper of Tim Holtz goodies arrived from Jowilna. Promise will take picture this week and post it. Thanks again Jowilna. I am going to have such fun playing with all the different things.
Materials: Black cardstock, Patterned cardstock, Oriental woman stamp by Stampington, Butterflies, Rhinestones, Chinese writing stamp by Toybox(I think), Black Brilliance ink pad,Lime color box ink pad
Method: For this card I just stamped directly onto the scrapbook paper as I was after a soft dreamy feel to the card. Used Black Brilliance ink pad. I then went around the edges with lime green color box ink pad and attached it to black cardstock and added the bling and the butterflies.

You've got mail - Paper Piecing Technique

Well this course I am doing on Paint Shop Pro with Marilyn made me think of this card.
It uses an image from one of my favourite companies - MFT (my favourite things) I just love their stamps. I also promised to share more techniques - so thought I would show you the Paper Piecing technique.
Materials: Black cardstock, white cardstock, red pattern scrapbook paper, Red Bazzil cardstock, Flowers, Red rhinestone, Silver ink pad, Black Brilliance ink pad, Stamps by MFT, Red color box ink pad, Cuttlebug numbers embossing folder, Big Shot
Technique: Paper piecing is a very easy technique and one that is ideal if you are not a fan of colouring in. Also ideal where you want say patterned dress like in the case of image above. All you do for Paper piecing is stamp your image onto cardstock as normal and then stamp image again onto patterned or coloured paper - you only need to stamp that area of the image that you want to cover ie the dress. You then cut out this image and attach it to the main stamped image. As easy as that. One can have a lot of fun using this technique to "colour" your images and it uses up lots of little scraps of paper which is great because I am sure their are others like me out there that can't bear throwing pieces of paper away.
Method for card: I took the Red cardstock and ran it through the Big Shot using Cuttlebug numbers embossing folder and then went around the edges with color box ink pad and attached it to the cardfront. I then attached strip of red pattern scrapbook paper. I stamped the words "You've got mail" using Silver inkpad onto strip of black cardstock and attached that to cardfront.
I stamped the main image onto white cardstock and then again onto red pattern cardstock using black brilliance ink pad. I cut out just the dress area from the red pattern cardstock and attached that to the image I stamped on white paper using Pritt. I then coloured the rest of the image using tombow pens and went around the edges with color box ink pad and mounted it onto black cardstock and then onto cardfront. To finish off the card I added some flowers with a red rhinestone in the centre.
Have a super duper week everyone - its always nice when we have a short week due to a Public Holiday - more time to play and stamp.

Time to start thinking Christmas Cards

Well its time to start thinking Christmas. Scary thought. I must get down to thinking about what to do though for the Christmas card Swap that Hayley is hosting on RSA and I still need to find an idea for the Christmas Vintage book that Angella is hosting and I am busy wrapping presents up for the Advent swap. So all in all feeling rather Christmassy today.
Thought I would share a Christmas card I made last year or maybe it was the year before - time flies by so fast its hard to keep up.
Materials: Cream cardstock, black cardstock, copper cardstock, Reindeer image by Penny Black, Christmas words stamp by Stamp it, Copper Brilliance ink pad, copper pen, rhinestones, black wool, alphabet letter metal charm.
Method: Used cream cardstock for the base card. I then took black cardstock and stamped christmas words repeatedly using Copper Brilliance ink pad and attach that to cardfront. I stamped the Reindeer onto cream cardstock using Copper Brilliance ink pad again and went around the edges with copper pen and mounted it onto black and then copper cardstock. I made the copper cardstock longer at the bottom so that I could wrap the black wool around it and then I attached it to the cardfront as shown. I then added a metal letter C and some rhinestones.
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday and I hope that you are also having Sunday Roast lunch with all the trimmings.

Bling Bling

Bling - my favourite topic.....
Hard to believe it's the weekend again. Time is just flying by this year.
I am busy studying Paint Shop Pro course through a Web University with Marilyn and we are having great fun learning all about what you can do in Paint Shop Pro - time to start thinking about creating my own digital stamps maybe. Really fabulous what computers can do these days compared to twenty years ago.
Now for today's card another red/black/gold card - always a striking combination I feel.
Materials: Black cardstock, white cardstock, Red cardstock, gold pen, Stamps by Rubber Romance, Black Brilliance ink pad, Ruby color box ink pad, Versamark ink pad, Gold embossing powder, gold buttons, Prima flowers, Jewel brad, Tombow pens, Stickles glitter glue, Big Shot, Sizzix embossing plate
Method: I used black cardstock for the base card. Stamp the woman image onto white cardstock using Black Brilliance ink pad and heat set and then coloured her in with tombow pens and markers and went around the edges with Ruby color box ink pad and then mounted her onto black cardstock. I then highlighted various areas with Stickles glitter glue. I took the red cardstock and ran it through the Big Shot using a Sissix embossing plate and then went around the edges with gold pen and mounted it on the cardfront. I then used versamark inkpad to stamp words Bling Bling onto strip of black cardstock and embossed with gold embossing powder and then attached it to the cardfront and then attached girl mounted image. Then I just added flowers with jewel brad and gold buttons to complete the card.
I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their weekend.

Heidi

Today's card uses a Digital stamp from CC Designs but she is also available as a UM stamp. She is Heidi from the Swiss Pixies range. So cute.

Now I have to tell you that I taught this card at card class last Saturday and then on Sunday I decided I had better photograph some cards for the blog this week and of course everytime I went outside to try it started raining, so needless to say I got quite wet and some of the cards got a bit of rain on them as well - hows that for dedication to this blog.

Materials - White cardstock for card base, Turquoise Bazzil cardstock, Turquoise pattern scrapbook paper, White cardstock to print image onto, Prima Flowers, buttons, Copic Markers, Stickles clear glitter glue, Nestabilities label die and a Turquoise color box ink pad.

Method - I went around edges of the turquoise bazzil cardstock and the turquoise scrapbook paper with a turquoise color box ink pad and attached them to cardfront. I then used my Big Shot to cut a label from Turquoise Bazzil cardstock using Nestabilities label die and attached a strip of Turquoise cardstock and then the label to the cardfront. I printed out the digi image onto white cardstock and then coloured her in using copic markers and did the wings with Stickles glitter glue and went around edges of image with turquoise color box ink pad and attached it to the label as shown. I then added Prima flowers and buttons.

I have Pixies and Angels living at the bottom of my garden - I hope you do too .....

Lazy summer days - Tilda in her Swimsuit

Well she looks ready for summer even if I am definately not - time to buy the fake tan soon I think, as the thought of wearing summer clothes with my winter white body is a fairly horrific thought. At least with my diabetes being out of control recently and having to switch to insulin, has meant that I have dropped some kg so at least ready for summer in that way.

Today's card uses an image from Magnolia called Tilda in her swimsuit.

Base card is white. I have layered Navy Bazzil cardstock onto the base card and then some Laura Ashley turquoise flocked paper after going around the edges with turquoise color box ink pad and securing some cream butterfly organza ribbon around. I then added strip of turquoise Bazzil cardstock to the bottom of the card which I ran through my Big Shot using Cuttlebug Swiss dots folder. Image stamped onto white cardstock using black brilliance and then coloured with Copic markers and went around the edges with turquoise color box ink pad. I then mounted the image onto the card as shown and added some Prima flowers and a metal Imagine word and some white buttons.

Roll on lazy summer days.

Elegance is an attitude

Can't believe we are half way through another week. The days seem to be really rushing past this year.
For today's card, I have used an image by Stampit who are an Australian company. Ronita from Simply Creative was bringing in their stamps at one stage, so check with her if you are interested.
The base card is cream. I then added strip of polka dot brown paper. I stamped the lady (Stampit) onto cream cardstock using Brown Brilliance ink pad and then mounted that onto brown and then black cardstock. I then stamped the word friendship (Hero arts) using brown brilliance ink pad and the saying Elegance is (Stampit) directly on the cardfront. I then added some pearls and an organza flower.

Passion for Fashion

Today's card uses an image from Stamping Bella. They have such cute images.
Base card is cream. I then added a layer of orange pattern scrapbook paper after going around the edges with a colorbox orange ink pad. I then added a strip of Apricot cardstock to the cardfront and attached some rhinestones and metal word charm to that. I stamped the girls (Stamping Bella) onto white cardstock with black brilliance ink pad and coloured with tombow pens and then went around the edge with a color box ink pad and attached it to the cardfront at an angle. I then attached some Prima flowers using a brad.

On my bike

I always wanted a Vespa scooter when I was younger - I thought it would be fun to zip around on and easy to park - typical blonde though didn't fancy having to wear a helmet as that would rather hamper your hair flowing in the breeze moment, so needless to say didn't buy a scooter.
Today's card uses black for the base card. I then took red cardstock and went around the edges with gold pen and stamped some swirls onto the cardstock (Autumn leaves) using black brilliance ink pad. Stamped the girl on her bike image from Rubber Romance using black brilliance ink pad onto white cardstock and then went around the edges with red color box ink pad and coloured in the image with watercolor paints and attached it to black cardstock and then to cardfront. Added a clippola with ribbon and a metal word charm saying - Its a girl thing.

Stars

Seeing as its Sunday today - thought I would share a really easy five minute card with you.

I found this roll of gorgeous star ribbon at some shop in Durban that Kim took me to years ago and I put it away in the cupboard and then it finally fell out the cupboard recently and I decided to use some of it.

The base card is cream and I then added strip of the ribbon down the left hand side and then cut another piece of cream and glued that to the front inside cover of the card to hide the back ends of the ribbon. I then added two gold stars and stamped and embossed in gold A wish for you. I also added a strip of gold magic ribbon ro right hand side of card. Truly a five minute card. They are always good when you are trying to make a lot of cards.

Well I am teaching this card today to my card class girls so thought I would share it with you. Hope they don't check the blog before coming to class this morning.
The main stamped image is Daisy by Sugar Nellie. She is just so adorable. The word stamp is by Crafters Companion.
I used black cardstock for the cardbase. I then added layer of Pink Bazzil cardstock after going around the edges with a pink color box inkpad. Next I took some pink pattern scrapbook paper and went around the edges with pink color box ink pad and wrapped pink organza ribbon around the middle and attached that to the cardbase. I then took strip of Pink Bazzil cardstock and stamped words - The scent of a flower is like a kiss from a fairy using Brown Brilliance ink pad and mounted it onto the cardfront. Walkies

I have been trying to convince my mother for the past year that I need a dog. I have always wanted a dog but never felt it fair on a dog when I lived alone and in an apartment. Now that I have the house though and a garden and with Mother home all day its an ideal time to get one.
Originally I wanted to get an Alsatian as I had one as a child but after more research and lots of looking at dogs I have decided I want to get a Golden Retriever. If anyone knows of a puppy looking for a good loving home let me know. Must be a girl as its going to be called Princess.
Today's card uses black cardstock for the base card. I then took a piece of red cardstock and went around the edges with gold pen and wrapped black and white dot ribbon around the bottom and secured it to the cardfront. I stamped the image from MFT onto white cardstock and coloured it in with tombow pens and then went around the edges with a red color box ink pad and attached it to red and then black cardstock and went around the edges of the black cardstock with gold pen. I then took strip of black and strip of red cardstock and mounted those to the cardfront as shown. I stamped the words onto the strip of red cardstock using Black Brilliance ink pad and then mounted the stamped and coloured image. I then stamped the swirl stamp using black brilliance ink pad onto the front of the card and added some more black and white dot ribbon using clippola.

We have a winner - Blog Candy Competition

Well thanks to everyone that sent emails with comments and suggestions for the blog. I really do appreciate getting comments and suggestions.

Seems several of you would like to see more techniques and Hayley wants to see my tools and equipment and what I do with them.

So today I did post the Serigraph technique and I will be posting more techniques in the future and also tips on tools and equipment.

Congratulations to Ursula for winning the stamp. I will get it in the post to you on Monday. I hope you enjoy it.

Serigraph Technique

Today's card uses the Serigraph technique. (my version anyway) Its such an easy technique to do.
Take plain white cardstock and stamp image several images of flowers/butterflies etc onto the card using versamark ink pad and emboss with white embossing powder. Then take a sponge and add ink - I used Mauves/Pinks from Kaleidacolor dye ink pad. Then when you are happy with the color overstamp using same images and the Kaleidacolor dye ink pad. Then the fun part - cut out 3 pieces from our piece of cardstock to mount onto black and then purple cardstock. I then mounted onto black cardstock and just added some flowers and a butterfly.
Makes for an unusual and colorful card. Its also one of those cards that you never get two quite the same.

Who wants to work when you can shop and do lunch and Blog Candy

Love the saying on this card - its from Great Impressions in South Africa. The shopper girl image is a Rubber Romance stamp.
Ok so as I have past 1000 hits on my blog, I thought it was time to give something away.
I have the ATC sized image of this shopper girl stamp which will go to the 5th person to email me their name and address. Please also put on the email what you like on my blog and also what you would like to see in the future. I will post anywhere in the world. Good luck. I will announce the winner later this week on the blog.
For today's card I have used black cardstock for the base. I then added strip of silver and white dot paper and black and white dot papers. I stamped the words using Silver Encore ink pad. I stamped the shopper girl onto white cardstock using black brilliance ink pad and then went around the edges with silver pen and mounted it onto black and then silver cardstock and then to cardfront. Then I just added some clear rhinestones to finish the card off.
Thanks to everyone for reading my blog and watch out for more give aways in the future.

Spring Flowers

Well it was such a wet wintery day in Cape Town yesterday that one can't help thinking
what has happened to Spring. I am still so excited still about my win last week on Jowilna's blog - a hamper of Tim Holtz goodies. Counting the days until it arrives - thank goodness the post office is up and running again.

Today's card uses cream cardstock for the base card. I then took some striped scrapbook paper and went around the edges with pink color box ink pad and attached that to the cardfront. I used black brilliance to stamp Spring words on. I then used same ink pad to stamp flowers (hero arts) onto pink and purple cardstock and cut them out and added them together with a material flower to the cardfront. I glittered two of the flower centres and added a rhinestone and a button in the others. I then added a butterfly and some flower rhinestones.

Kick up your heels

Happy Monday everyone. Another small card for today.
I have used black cardstock for the cardbase. I then went around the edges of some floral scrapbook paper with amber color box ink pad and attached it to cardfront. I then took strip of black cardstock and ran it through the Big Shot using Cuttlebug swirl embossing folder and attached it as shown. The stamps of shoe and words are by Hero Arts. I stamped the words directly onto the card using black brilliance ink pad. I stamped the shoe onto cream cardstock using black brilliance ink pad and then went around the edges with the amber color box ink pad and also sponged the background area of image very lightly with amber ink pad and sponge. I then coloured in the shoe with a Copic marker and added some stickles glitter glue. Now go kick up your heels and have some fun as the saying says.

My favourite flowers

Now these have to rate as my favourite flowers in the garden - hyacinth's - they just always smell so beautifully.

I used white cardstock for my card base. I then printed out green floral and dot paper from Pink Petticoat CD and attached them to cardfront. I then took strip of Light green Bazzil cardstock and ran it through my Big Shot using Floral Fantasy Cuttlebug folder and went around the edges with color box ink pad and attached it to the cardfront. I then took strip of dark green Bazzil cardstock and ran that through the Big Shot using Cuttlebug Swirl folder and attached that to the cardfront. I then stamped the floral collage image from Third Coast Rubbr Stamps using Black Brilliance ink pad and coloured it in using DTP technique using color box ink pads. I then went around the edges with gold pen and attached the image to cardfront. I then added some rhinestones, Floral fantasy metal word charm and some Prima flowers with rhinestone.

Fairy Tale Couture

Today's card uses one of the new range of Fairy Tale Couture stamps by Sandra Evertson for Stampington. I got mine from Niki Zipp at Paperchain in Johannesburg. The whole range is stunning. Have a look at www.stampington.com
The stamp used is called Ballgown.
I used black cardstock for my base card. I then printed out Black and White papers from Pink Petticoat CD and attached them to cardfront as shown. I took a strip of Lime green cardstock and ran it through my Big Shot using Cuttlebug swirl embossing folder and then attached that to cardfront. I inked the stamp with Black Brilliance and stamped it onto white cardstock and then trimmed to size and went around the edges with pink color box ink pad. I then coloured in the image using Copic markers and attached it to the cardfront. I then attached Prima flowers and rhinestone. I went over the flowers using gold distress stickles using the best paintbrush ever - my finger.

Ballgowns

Now what girl wouldn't love a dress like this.....
The stamp is from Stamps Happen. I adore their stamps - they are mounted and they stamp beautifully and they have a large range. The backing papers are from Pink Petticoat.
I have used Cream for the base card. I then printed out chocolate brown and pink swirl paper and Pink and Chocolate brown dot papers from Pink Petticoat CD and went around the edges with a pink color box ink pad and then attached to cardfront as shown. I then added a strip of Pink Bazzil cardstock. I stamped the dress image using Black Brilliance ink pad onto cream cardstock and coloured in using chalks. I then went around edges with gold pen and attached to cardfront but first secured some brown and white dot ribbon behind the image. I then added some pearls and a flower.

Butterflies in my Garden

Yesterday was such a gorgeous summery day in Cape Town - hard to believe its Winter. Well I posted a note awhile back about all the caterpillars in my garden - well there are still loads and loads but saw my first butterfly yesterday - I only hope the others all turn into beautiful butterflies otherwise next year I am going to be on a caterpillar destroy mission.
So I thought I would share a butterfly card with you today - Today's card uses butterfly image from Paperbag studios.
Base card is black cardstock. I then took butterfly scrapbook paper and stamped swirls (Autumn Leaves) using brown brilliance ink pad. I then stamped the butterfly image onto cream cardstock using brown brilliance ink pad and went around the edges with gold pen and then layered onto dark brown cardstock and then added it to cardfront. I then added a nature life sticker, some bling in the form of rhinestones and a flower. I also stamped bar code in lower right hand corner.
